I’ve always felt that I would benefit from having a coach and mentor that was outside of my immediate bubble, but wouldn’t really have considered it due to the cost and unknown of doing it. Therefore, when the opportunity to work with Sacha came along I was very pleased.
Upon reflection now, I had been stuck in a bit of a rut before the coaching. I was simply moving from one item to the next and ticking things off a to-do list with little thought of where I was heading.
The coaching has helped me immensely, utilising the GROW model with Sacha has enabled me to firstly take stock of where I am, then identify where I want to be and then importantly develop achievable concrete objectives that move me forwards.
The regular sessions acted as an opportunity for me to reflect and get my thoughts onto paper. I’m very driven and committed but I’m sometimes guilty of putting pressure on myself to achieve too many things at once, the coaching sessions helped me to free the headspace and allow me to focus on these prioritised goals in manageable steps
I am reasonably self-aware and recognise the challenge for me is to “get out of my own way”. These sessions challenged my thinking and allow me to also let things go that are not moving me towards my personal goals and happiness.
